I had a good couple of months. I had a goal to write every month but as we all know it didn't last long. The good thing about goals is that you can always start over, so here goes take 2.
Every time I would go to write a new post I just didn't feel that I had anything of importance to say but now I have good news to share! After almost a year of Chapan wishing and praying he finally has the job he's wanted since graduation. He's back with his beloved Layton. Today was his first day on the job and I think he was as excited as a child on their first day of school. :)
Now that we have the job that we want now we need to decide where we want to live. Do we want to buy a house, or a town home or do we want to rent. The job is down in Payson which is south of Provo. How far south do we want to move? Also the project will last for about a year and a half and then we could be moved to another project in Utah or it could be some place totally different. How do you figure this all out? Buying is kind of scary, it's a big purchase! But at the same time we are excited to have our own place to call our own. Since we've been married we have lived in Rexburg college apartments and my parents basement. Both have served us well and were right for the time, but now I think it's time for something new, something different. Anyone know what that is because I'm not sure I do. Oh the excitment of the unknown! :)
Easter Sunday was wonderful! The speakers had me in tears in no time, which isn't always that hard to do. :) Papa Bear was one of them and I always love to hear my daddy talk. I also was asked to sing.... Lets just say it wasn't my best work. But the spirit was still there and very strong. It was a wonderful spiritual boost that I needed. I am thankful for my Savior and all that he has done for me. He lives!!!
Yay updates!!! :) my family used to go fishing at Payson lake. I love you Kami i'm glad it sounds like things are going well!! we'll have to talk soon!
ReplyDeleteKami I love you! Just so you know you don't have to have an exciting story to blog. I just get excited to know what is happening in your life.
ReplyDeleteIn regards to the question of renting versus owning. Renting you can basically pick up and move any time you want and the upkeeps are usually left to the owner. After owning or more specifically Kenyon owning the house, I have decided that renting would most likely be less hastle and less to worry about and more convenient. Glad to hear things are going well for you.
